Construction Worker Solutions operates as an independent third-party service provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) or CITB (Construction Industry Training Board). A service fee is charged for the use of our services.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and related policies at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
You have the right to cancel your order within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period. However, once the service has begun, it will be deemed to have been provided and your right to cancel will no longer apply. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for further details.
If an error occurs in the processing of your booking due to our fault, we will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue. If this is not possible, a refund of our service fee will be issued.
All test booking dates and times are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Preferred dates or times may not always be accommodated.
All correspondence must be submitted via our Contact Us form. We aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
By submitting the required documentation, you acknowledge that the service has commenced, you waive your right to cancel, and a refund fee may apply in accordance with our terms.
Our services are available only to individuals aged 16 years or older. By using this website or purchasing any service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years old, you must not use this website or purchase any of our services. Any use of the website or services by individuals below this age may result in cancellation of the service and will be subject to these Terms and Conditions, including our no-refund policies where applicable.
If a test is cancelled within 96 hours of the scheduled test time and the requested date has already been provided, no refund will be issued.
If a test is cancelled more than 96 hours before the scheduled test time, a refund may be issued minus a ÂŁ20 administration charge and any applicable booking fees. All refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original order date. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for a refund.
As an alternative to cancellation, you may request to reschedule your test free of charge, provided the request is made more than 96 hours prior to the test time.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our Contact Us form, using the same email address used at the time of payment.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original credit or debit card used for payment within 5–7 working days. If a refund has not been received after this time, please contact us.
Once an order has been placed, any refund request will be subject to a ÂŁ20 administration fee per card. This administration fee will also apply where a refund is requested due to incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable documentation being provided for the CSCS card applied for.
Our service is deemed to have commenced once you upload the required documentation through our system. If work has begun on your application, a ÂŁ20 administration fee per card will apply to any eligible refund request. Where the required documentation cannot be provided, the administration fee will still apply.
All completed and submitted CSCS card applications are non-refundable.
The issue of new or renewed CSCS cards is not automatic and remains subject to CSCS eligibility requirements and approval.
Our team will contact you via email to request the documents required for your CSCS card application. All documents must be uploaded within 60 days of the order date. Failure to do so will result in the application being cancelled with no refund issued.
We may contact you by email (please check your junk or spam folder) to request additional information or qualifications required to progress your application. You must respond and provide the requested information within 60 days. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in cancellation of the application with no refund issued.
If you do not receive confirmation of your CSCS card application or any information requests from us within 14 days of placing your order, you must contact us.
It is the responsibility of the customer and/or their business to ensure that all required qualifications and documentation are available and provided within the stated timeframe. If the required documentation cannot be supplied, the customer will not be entitled to a refund. However, where a refund is requested within 60 days, and the application has been worked on but not submitted to CSCS, a refund may be issued minus the ÂŁ20 administration fee.
CSCS cards are generally issued within 7–10 working days after all correct information has been submitted. We do not issue CSCS cards directly and cannot guarantee delivery times, which may vary depending on CSCS processing.
Construction Worker Solutions reserves the right to cancel any CSCS card application where relevant documentation is not provided. In such cases, no refund will be issued
Individual test centres reserve the right to amend or cancel test dates and times without prior notice. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates subject to availability.
Construction Worker Solutions, CITB, CSCS, and CITB test centres accept no responsibility for any claim, loss, liability, cost, or expense, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to the cancellation or rescheduling of a test, or from a CSCS card not being issued.
Retake Option
Where a CITB test and retake option is purchased:
The candidate is entitled to one free retest only.
The retest is non-transferable and may only be used by the original candidate.
The free retest must be booked within 10 days of a failed test by contacting us via our Contact Us form.
– Booking and Cancellation Policy
All one-day awareness courses, including the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety Awareness and the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment, once booked, cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.

Construction Worker Solutions reserves the right to cancel, amend, or reschedule course dates, course locations, the provision of services, or the individual or organisation delivering the course, and to make reasonable variations to course content or delivery, without prior notice.
Construction Worker Solutions shall not be held responsible where a candidate is unable to attend a course for any reason, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, illness, or any other personal circumstances.
Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
By using this website and our services, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
