About the CSCS Red Experienced Worker Card

The CSCS Red Experienced Worker Card is designed for experienced construction workers who have practical on-site experience but have not yet achieved the required qualification for a skilled CSCS card. This card is intended for workers with at least one year’s experience within the last three years who are registered to complete a recognised construction-related NVQ/SVQ Level 2, SVQ at SCQF Level 5, or a higher qualification. The card is valid for 1 year only and cannot be renewed. During this period, cardholders are expected to complete their qualification and apply for the appropriate CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card or another relevant skilled card.

You must have passed the appropriate CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for your occupation within the last 2 years.
